In 1989 Valdez, Alaska was the scene of one of the world's greatest ever man-made environmental disasters. The Exxon Valdez oil spill. In 2009, to further protect the pristine Alaskan environment, the City of Valdez installed an Envirobale system, as part of the city's waste management program.
Envirobale have three sites established in Alaska, Valdez on the fragile tip of Prince William Sound, the City of Unalaska and a third site underway for the city of Cordova.
The Envirobale system is suitable for any climate and any environmental conditions. It is an effective solution for low volume facilities with high environmental priorities, or high volume facilities with strict return on investment considerations.
